The Hang Seng Index opened 0.9% higher, climbing 152.85 to 17,939.17, as stocks gain for the second straight day in Hong Kong.
Meituan contributed the most to the index gain, increasing 2.7%. Li Auto Inc. had the largest increase, rising 5.7%.
In early trading, 60 of 82 shares rose, while 18 fell; all sectors were higher, led by commerce and industry stocks.
